By chance, I heard from a salesperson who sells rubber and plastic insulation materials abroad that the most stringent and authoritative third-party certification for such materials is the DNV certification. I remember that when working on the completion documents for LNG projects, the test reports provided by the manufacturers for the insulation materials were almost always issued by the Glass Fiber Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center. Is this DNV certificate really more authoritative and stringent than those issued by the Glass Fiber Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Center?
