Technical renovation project for producing 100 million Nm3/year of LNG from residual coke oven gas in coke ovens

The project titled “Technical Upgrade for Converting Excess Coke Oven Gas into 100 million Nm3/year of LNG” is carried out by Shanxi Jintaishan New Energy Co., Ltd. It is located within the Fenyang Sanquan Coking Industrial Park, to the east of Wulin Coking, and in the southwest direction of Jintaishan’s 1.36 million tons/year coking project. Leveraging the favorable infrastructure in the park, this project utilizes the excess gas from Jinta Mountain’s 1.36 million tons per year coking plant to produce 100 million Nm3 per year of LNG. The main construction components of this project include: raw gas storage, compression section, purification section, synthesis section, liquefaction section, LNG storage tanks, and loading station. The total projected investment for the project is 355,922,000 yuan, with a land area of approximately 10 hectares.
