Dear teachers, has anyone designed a drawn air duct? Our unit needs it urgently, as it’s my first time working on this and I have no design experience. Please give me some advice. Thank you!
Could you introduce it? I’ve never even heard of it
Some of Cangzhou’s seamless tube manufacturers offer custom orders
Drawn tubes are used as the container cylinders; they are designed in accordance with GB150. Is there a design for this?
After two years of study, I have gained some understanding of using drawn tubes as pressure vessels, and I would like to share this knowledge with everyone. 1. For drawn pipes, the thickness ratio of the main pipe to the branch pipes is 0.758, as stated in one paper. Based on my understanding of several pipe fitting companies in Hebei, this ratio is generally not achieved; it depends on factors such as the drawing process and the length to which the branch pipes are drawn, with the actual ratio being around 0.65. 2. The reinforcement calculation for the openings in drawn tubes is carried out in accordance with GB50251; simultaneously, SW6 is used for the calculations, and a calculation report is prepared. 3. The drawings shall be designed, manufactured, and inspected in accordance with GB150. I’m not sure what good suggestions everyone has; I hope you’ll leave comments.
I can add my WeChat contact for discussing the calculation of drawtube strength and structural design.
