On the decarbonization vent gas from coke oven gas to produce LNG

We use a plant for producing LNG from lignite flue gas. The CO2 desulfurization tower in the decarbonization system relies on on-site venting; however, there is a strong unpleasant odor in the plant area due to this venting. Could anyone please advise me on how to deal with this issue?
A sample can be taken for analysis to determine what it is; most likely, a alkaline wash or adsorption will suffice
