Feicheng Tailian has obtained a patent for an isolation device designed for use in natural gas pipelines that allows work to be carried out while the pipeline is still under pressure. According to information from the Intellectual Property Office, Feicheng Tailian Natural Gas Co., Ltd. has been granted a patent titled “An Isolation Device for Natural Gas Pipelines”, with the approval number CN223215995U; the application was submitted in October 2024. The patent abstract indicates that this utility model discloses a isolation device for gas pipelines, which includes a pipeline body. It also comprises an isolation component located inside the pipeline body; this isolation component consists of a mounting rod placed within the pipeline body, with one end of the mounting rod fitted with a mounting plate. A rubber ring is fitted around the outside of the mounting rod on one side of the mounting plate, and this rubber ring is connected movably to the mounting plate. One side of the rubber ring is fixedly connected to the mounting plate, while the other end of the rubber ring is fitted with a movable plate, which is connected slidably to the mounting rod. On the side of the pipeline body’s opening, outside the mounting rod, there is a fixed plate ； This allows for the isolation of the pipe body when it is necessary to isolate the pipeline; moreover, isolation using rubber rings is not affected by sparks, enabling work to be carried out in the presence of fire. It also facilitates operation by users, thereby enhancing convenience and practicality. According to Tianyancha data, Feicheng Tailan Natural Gas Co., Ltd. was established in 2008 and is located in Tai’an City; it is a company that is primarily engaged in the production and supply of gas.
