Is it portable and meets the **standards** during sample digestion and measurement? If there is a discrepancy with the **standards, can the arbitration outcome still be considered credible? Is it still fair?

We also use Lianhua, which is quite good; compared to the standard arbitration method, its results are within the acceptable error range.

The process of using potassium dichromate is indeed rather complicated, mainly due to the long heating and reflux time required； With the rapid development of instruments, **in 2007, the standard “HJ/T399-2007 Water Quality – Determination of Chemical Oxygen Demand – Rapid Digestion Spectrophotometric Method” was issued as the recommended method for measuring COD. The principle is the same as that of the potassium dichromate method; the only difference is that a rapid digestion apparatus is used in the digestion process. When verifying this method, it must be compared with the potassium dichromate method, as long as the error remains within the allowable range. There are many wastewater COD testing instruments available on the market today, such as COD analyzers and online monitors. More and more manufacturers are developing portable COD detectors in response to market demand. These are upgraded versions of conventional COD detectors, designed as integrated devices for on-site COD measurement, and there are numerous brands available to be found online.

Lianhua’s is in use; there are many manufacturers that produce this.
