The Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau requires two technical papers for applying to become an assistant engineer; I’m not sure on which topic to focus on – chemistry or laboratory analysis. Those who have already applied could share their experiences. Thank you!

Are the requirements for assistants so high these days? I remember that back then, one year of working there was enough for an automatic promotion.
Assistants include assistant engineers and technicians; it is recommended to choose a field related to chemistry, as laboratory work is too narrow in scope

Assistant engineers do not need papers; at least 2 papers are required to be considered for the engineer title. The original poster is mistaken – please read the documents regarding title evaluation carefully
