The addition of sodium borate pentahydrate to the compound fertilizer affects potassium testing

Recently, the products have been failing to meet the quality standards; their potassium content is low, even though the required amount was added theoretically. During analysis, white precipitates appear after boiling – could this be due to the formation of pentahydrate potassium borate, which is causing the low potassium oxide content? I seek advice; has anyone else encountered such a problem?
