Samples are digested using microwaves; the digestion solution contains hydrofluoric acid, which needs to be neutralized with boric acid. Since the instrument is not resistant to acids, acid removal treatment is required. During the acid removal process of the neutralized digestion solution, boric acid precipitates. Is it possible, after neutralization with boric acid, to skip the acid removal step and instead take a small amount of the neutralized solution, dilute it by a certain factor, and send it directly to the instrument for testing? Will this affect the accuracy of instrument measurement and the detection of the final element?
