According to the draft for comments, the petrochemical industry will phase out 9 types of outdated production processes and equipment: informal refining processes for used rubber and plastics ； Intermittent coke process for carbon disulfide production ； High-mercury catalyst production equipment (mercuric chloride content of 6.5% or more) ； Acetylene process PVC production plant using high-mercury catalysts ； Equipment for producing chromium compounds through calcium calcination ； Production facilities for sodium methoxide, potassium methoxide, sodium ethoxide, potassium ethoxide, polyurethanes, acetaldehyde, caustic soda, and pesticides that use mercury or mercury compounds ； Waste mineral oil re-refining process using sulfuric acid/activated clay method ； Batch distillation soil oil refining process using used mineral oil ； Sulfuric acid method for producing sodium dichromate and chromic anhydride in chromium salt production (December 31, 2030).
