If anyone knows, please help answer: is there an industry standard for the flanges on filters?
The flanges on the equipment are compatible with standard flanges; you can choose them yourself – just ensure that the flanges provided by the manufacturer meet the standards you require! For example, for ASME B16.5 flanges, it is sufficient that the dimensions, pressure rating, and type of sealing surface are identical.
I’m sorry, I didn’t express myself clearly just now. What I mean is, is there any industry standard for the flange at the top of the filter – the one equipped with slip bolts and sling nuts? What is this type of flange called in the industry?
Equipment flange or cylinder flange. There are standard flanges for equipment; JB/T4700 specifies Type A flanges, while Type B flanges are more commonly used.
