In such cases, whether it is necessary to replace the mesh belt or reinstall it, Yuyin Machinery recommends following the steps below. 1. Turn off all power supplies to the belt conveyor, remove the protective cover, loosen the mounting bolts of the motor, and then move the motor so that the belt becomes loose, making it easier to remove the damaged belt. 2. If the conveyor belt of the removed belt conveyor shows signs of abnormal wear, it indicates a problem with the drive mechanism; in such cases, a suitable belt should be selected for replacement. 3. First, the stainless steel mesh belt of the conveyor belt needs to be cleaned. At this time, it is important to note the following: under no circumstances should sandpaper be used to wipe away oil stains or dirt ; Second: under no circumstances should you choose to soak it directly in cleaning agents or scrub it. Both of these methods will cause damage to the stainless steel mesh belt. 4. Before replacement, ensure that the conveyor belt of the mesh belt conveyor is kept dry. 5. Check protective devices such as those against deviation and transmission protection; any deviation or wear should be adjusted and repaired immediately. 6. Install the stainless steel mesh belt on the mesh belt conveyor, then adjust the center distance of the drive mechanism first, and use a tension meter to adjust the belt to the appropriate tension ; Then tighten all the bolts of the motor; if they are tightened too much, it may result in poor performance of the conveyor. 7. After the replacement is complete, operate the belt conveyor to check its condition after the replacement. If there is noise or vibration, shut it down immediately and inspect the motor and bearings. The above are the tips for replacing and installing stainless steel mesh belts; we hope that users can carry out the process smoothly.
