Does anyone here know the working principle of a single-seat control valve? Also, what are the consequences of closing the valve located upstream of the control valve?
Based on the change in volume of a liquid due to temperature, the movement of a diaphragm is triggered via a conduit, which is then converted into a signal output. Since it is a temperature control valve, it is only responsible for temperature changes and is not concerned with pressure changes that occur as a result of closing the valve. However, pressure changes inevitably affect temperature changes, and these temperature changes in turn influence the operation of the temperature control valve.
This valve only comes into effect when the oil temperature is below 40 degrees (in very rare cases, 35 degrees), preventing the oil from flowing to the oil cooler. If it needs to be turned off, then turn it off – it doesn’t affect the overall situation. It just means that when starting the car, the oil temperature rises more slowly
It has little impact if the valve at the front of the temperature control valve is closed; the temperature after cooling can be controlled by adjusting the water flow rate in the oil cooler
Inside the temperature control valve, there is a thermosensitive material installed; as the temperature changes, this material allows the valve opening to be adjusted, thereby controlling the ratio of cooled lubricant to uncooled lubricant and thus regulating the oil temperature.
