1. Pay attention to the moisture protection of the instrument converter, as vortex flowmeters are installed on low-temperature pipelines where the operating temperature is low; moisture inside the converter can easily condense, reducing the insulation resistance between electronic components and printed wires, which in turn affects the electrical performance of the instrument. To address this, the following measures should be taken: (1) Before the instrument leaves the factory, each printed circuit board inside the converter should be coated with a moisture-resistant paint to provide better protection for the electronic components; (2) The wiring terminals on the terminal board inside the converter should be coated with insulating latex to isolate the exposed terminals from moisture and prevent a decrease in insulation impedance ; (3) Strengthen the sealing at the input port, output port, and the front and rear end covers of the converter to prevent moisture from the environment from entering the converter ; (4) Place small packets of desiccant in appropriate locations inside the converter. 2 Select a suitable installation location to minimize the electromagnetic and vibrational interference from other devices in the environment on the vortex flowmeter. 3. Be careful to choose a vortex flow meter with an appropriate diameter; select the range based on the actual flow rate range.
