I am currently using a pin type coupling, and the shock absorbing ring is often worn and replaced. Under the premise of changing the distance between the motor and the pump base, is there a good coupling that does not require frequent replacement of the shock absorbing ring? Can anyone recommend it?
Is the coupling alignment condition bad?
There is no problem with the alignment. I don’t know if it is a problem with the material of the shock absorber ring or some other reason.
Are you using polychlorine, rubber, or polyurethane?
If there is no problem with the alignment, try changing the material, or change the diaphragm coupling.
The first polyurethane used was replaced frequently in winter, but now it is replaced with rubber, which is better than polyurethane.
If there is no problem with your alignment, the elastic ring should be replaced only once a year under normal circumstances. Also, if your pump is vibrating, this should be the root cause. No matter what the material is, there is basically no problem with using it for a year. If your pump vibrates, it doesn't matter what type of pump you use. Check for vibration first.
If there is a thread inside the rubber, try to align it well and it should not wear out. What is the axial and radial error? Don't change the diaphragm. A single diaphragm is too dangerous. Use a diaphragm if there is an intermediate connection.
The anti-seismic rubber ring is used in winter and summer and should be replaced according to the season, otherwise it will be seriously worn.
