The first batch of hydrogen compressors produced by Zhongding Hengsheng were installed in PetroChina’s Blue Sea New Materials project. At 9:26 a.m. on August 6, 2025, with the precise installation of these hydrogen compressors, the construction phase for the high-end polyolefin production facility under the Blue Sea New Materials project officially began. As part of the first batch of process equipment to be introduced to this site, they not only enabled the startup of the hydrogen production system through water electrolysis but also served as a vivid example of how the various elements in the industrial chain can work together to implement the hydrogen energy strategy. The arrival of this core equipment serves as a crucial link in the hydrogen energy industry ecosystem, connecting the entire chain of \"hydrogen production – storage – utilization\", and demonstrating the determination of equipment manufacturers to work together with partners throughout the industry. Breakthroughs in core technologies help reduce costs and improve efficiency in the green hydrogen industry. The use of ZD Hengsheng diaphragm compressors in high-end polyolefin projects related to blue ocean new materials demonstrates the technical capabilities of domestically produced hydrogen energy equipment. As a key device for producing hydrogen through water electrolysis, its primary function is to compress the generated hydrogen to an appropriate pressure; part of this hydrogen is supplied to downstream industrial facilities, while the rest is sold to nearby hydrogen refueling stations via filling columns, thereby enabling efficient utilization and commercial operation of hydrogen energy. This process requires not only equipment with high sealing performance, high stability, and a long service life, but also the ability to meet the scaled-up demands of the green hydrogen industry. Thanks to its independently developed diaphragm compressor technology, Zhongding Hengsheng has successfully broken the monopoly held by imported brands, providing an important guarantee for the autonomy and control of China’s hydrogen energy industry chain.
