If boiler feed water is not treated or is treated inadequately, scaling will inevitably occur, leading to a decrease in heat transfer efficiency and excessive fuel consumption. It can also cause corrosion of equipment and pipelines, and in severe cases, explosions may occur. Especially in areas where the hardness of the raw water is high, it is necessary to widely use water softening equipment. Such equipment is crucial for improving boiler efficiency, ensuring their safe operation, and extending their service life. So what kind of faults can occur when using boiler water softening equipment? When the water softening unit does not carry out regeneration, it may be caused by one or more of the following situations. 1. Power supply to the device is interrupted. It is necessary to check whether the power supply is working properly. 2. The timer is damaged. Replace the timer in a timely manner. 3. Power failure; the time needs to be reset. Boiler water softening equipment: This equipment is used to treat hard water. 1. Check whether there is sufficient salt in the salt tank, ensuring that the salt level is above the water level. 2. Check whether the jetter or filter screen is clogged, and replace it in a timely manner. 3. The water tank has a high hardness; rinse it repeatedly with water. 4. Leakage inside the valve body. Ensure that the central tube is not cracked, and at the same time inspect the O-rings and guide tubes, replacing them as necessary. 5. Leaking central tube. Replace the sealing rings, gaskets, and pistons in a timely manner. The water softening equipment does not absorb brine: 1. Blockage in the dirt discharge outlet. This problem can be resolved by cleaning the injector and replacing the filter screen. 2. The timer does not rotate. Replace the timer in a timely manner. 3. There is a foreign object inside the salt suction valve. Clean or replace the salt suction valve.
