16MnHR is a nuclear power steel, an ordinary-forging type of steel plate for pressure vessels, primarily used in manufacturing equipment such as steam generators for electrical use. The execution standard for 16MnHR is WYJ24–98. I. Chemical composition of 16MnHR (%): CSiMnPS – Melting analysis: ≤0.20, 0.20–0.60, 1.20–1.60; ≤0.025, ≤0.010. Finished product analysis: ≤0.22, 0.15–0.65, 1.10–1.70; ≤0.025, ≤0.010. Note: The residual contents of Cr and Ni in the steel shall not exceed 0.25% each, while the Mo content shall not exceed 0.20%. II.
