Red font, other high-pressure vessels (A2), why is A2 a high-pressure vessel?
The new regulations have added items A1 large-scale high-pressure vessels and A6 ultra-high-pressure vessels.
A2 other high pressure vessels (10MPA≤P＜100MPa)
High-pressure products are divided into manufacturing categories by diameter this time. Large-scale high-pressure vessels with a pressure of more than 2 meters are considered A1 and require relatively high manufacturing capabilities. High pressures below 2 meters are considered A2 and have lower manufacturing requirements.
So basically all the A1 items have become A2. Now if I do A1, do I need to add items?
Could you please comment on the second point in the first point?: 2. A pressure vessel manufacturing unit does not need to obtain a separate design license to design the pressure vessels it manufactures. Pressure vessel manufacturing units without design capabilities shall subcontract the design to design units holding corresponding design licenses. If there is no need to obtain separate design permission, there will be no seal. Is that okay?
It may be that those with a design certificate can still design for external parties, while those without a design certificate can only design containers with the manufacturing license of their own unit.
Is there a limit to what is considered large?
A design seal is still required. It is estimated that the design seal of the manufacturing unit may be different from the design seal of the professional design unit. For example, those of manufacturing units are diamond-shaped, while those of professional design units are oval.
