It involves a pressure vessel used to store most liquids that are not flammable, explosive, or toxic – a cylindrical tank with a capacity of several dozen cubic meters. The vessel is mostly filled with liquid, with only a small amount of gas in the upper part; so, should the safety valve be installed at the higher point in the upper area, or at the lower level where the liquid covers it? What is the specific reason for setting it this way? Is there a situation (Y) where a tee is added at a certain location to install two safety valves? Please, experienced sailors, reply to clarify this for me. Thank you!
Is the storage temperature higher than the boiling point of the medium?

Located at the upper part of the gas phase space. In addition to the factors mentioned by LZ, the liquid phase section also requires consideration of whether it is likely to cause blockages in the safety valves; by being located at the upper part of the gas phase space, it allows the equipment to operate at its maximum capacity while ensuring safety
Can’t we just limit the liquid level height? I guess none of these qualify as pressure vessels.
