I have a horizontal storage tank with dimensions of φ1600x3000 that requires the installation of internal heating coils; does anyone know how to set this up?
The coil format of the heat exchange area is determined based on process requirements, and its installation location should be as low as possible while still meeting those requirements.
Could you please specify how to arrange the internal coils in vertical containers? For horizontal containers, internal coils are required this time – are there any standards for that?
Consider the application and the specific operational requirements: is it for anti-condensation or heating? To what temperature level is heating required? Will a few tubes be sufficient, or is a larger tube bundle needed? . . .
For steam heating, is a coiled tube better or a spiral tube?

It really depends on the required heat exchange area; for large areas, a tube bundle is used, while for smaller areas, several sets of coiled tubes that are bent upward and downward parallel to the cylinder can be employed.
U-tubes are laid flat at the bottom of the cylinder; the number of layers depends on the required heat exchange area.
