As the title suggests, under what circumstances is it necessary to install upper and lower steam drums in a high-temperature flue gas waste heat boiler? What’s the purpose?

In high-temperature flue gas waste heat boilers, in order to obtain steam at high pressure while recovering as much heat as possible and reducing the flue gas temperature, two steam drums are used: one medium-pressure steam drum and one low-pressure steam drum.
