The relationship between the height of the object and its center of gravity determines the maximum slope. Generally speaking, for a uniformly distributed load, the maximum slope of an incline conveyor can be determined by ensuring that a vertical line passing through the center of gravity of the load falls within 1/3 of the length of the load’s base. Tightening device for incline belt conveyors: All belt conveyors must be equipped with a tightening device to compensate for changes in belt length and maintain belt tension. The tensioning device is preferably installed at the loose end of the belt, right next to the driving part. Gravity tensioning devices must be used in the following situations: (1) When a belt conveyor on an incline uses a rubber belt with a length of over 45 m. (2) When a belt conveyor on an incline uses a knitted canvas belt with a length of over 20 m. (3) When a belt conveyor on an incline uses a cotton fabric belt with a length of over 15 m.
