Generally, it includes the following: Appearance: Check for any casting defects on the surface of the valve castings (porosity, surface roughness), the quality of welding, whether there are burrs or sharp edges on the holes, and whether the flange sealing surfaces are damaged. The quality of forgings is generally fine. For carbon steel components, check whether the surface paint is peeling or flaking, and whether the color codes meet the requirements (adhesion testing is a destructive test, so it is not necessary to conduct it upon arrival at the factory). Labels: Verify that the valve body contains information such as the material type, furnace number, and series number; ensure that the nameplate/tag meets the requirements (in accordance with the contract and technical agreements). Dimensions: Recheck the main connection dimensions according to batch requirements and sampling protocols; measure structural lengths, flange sizes, etc. Performance testing: If conditions permit at the factory, random samples can be taken for pressure testing. Functional test: Operate the valve several times to determine if there is any interference.
