1. The valve is closed by being pushed downward; the thrust generated by the actuation mechanism is not sufficient, and without pressure adjustment it is easy for the valve to reach its fully closed position. Therefore, when there is liquid whose resistance to thrust is too high, the valve cannot be closed completely. Solution: Replace the actuator with one that provides greater thrust, or replace the balance spool to reduce the unbalanced force of the medium. 2. Internal leakage caused by the debugging of the electric control valve. Solution: Reset the restrictions. 3. Leakage inside the electric control valve caused by valve cavitation corrosion resulting from selection errors. Solution: Process improvement by using multi-stage pressure reduction or sleeve control valves. 4. Poor manufacturing quality of electric control valves leads to internal leakage. Solution: Rework the sealing surface. 5. Internal leakage caused by medium erosion and aging of electric control valves. Solution: Readjust the actuator, and perform regular maintenance and calibration. 6. The actuator’s zero adjustment is inaccurate, and the valve does not close completely. Adjustment method: 1) Manually close the dead valve (make sure it is fully closed) ; 2) Close the valve manually again with force; not much force is required ; 3) Rotation (valve opening direction): half rotation ; 4) Then adjust the limit. 7. The control section of the electric control valve affects the internal leakage of the valve. Solution: Reset the restrictions.
