Concrete tanks are resistant to ozone corrosion; the ozone concentration used is 300–500 mg/l. The composition of the wastewater is as follows: TDS at 50,000 mg/l, with sodium chloride and sodium sulfate being the main components; COD at 600 mg/l, and SiO2 at 150 mg/l. It’s an outdoor tank. What materials should be used? It would be best to have proof of the materials’ resistance to ozone. Additionally, I would like to know what kind of anti-corrosion measures can be applied to carbon steel tanks to protect them from ozone, under the same conditions – high ozone concentrations, not the few mg/l levels seen in water treatment plants.
For outdoor concrete pools, durability against atmospheric aging is the primary consideration, followed by resistance to chemical corrosion.

In fact, ordinary coatings can withstand sewage corrosion, but since you use a large amount of ozone, what’s important here is resistance to the strong oxidizing effects of ozone; you need to find coatings that are resistant to ozone oxidation
