Self-designed and constructed cathodic protection for the outer wall of pipelines

In large chemical plants, the layout of underground pipelines is quite complex; in some areas, there is a tendency for the resistivity of the pipeline’s anti-corrosion coating to increase, indicating that the outer anti-corrosion layer is gradually aging and deteriorating. Therefore, using a sacrificial anode to protect pipes from corrosion is a good method. The diagram below shows the cathodic protection measures implemented by the construction company selected and designed by our management unit (the owner); the results have been good since it was put into operation.
