According to Sinochem New Network, in 2025, the corrosion protection research team at Jinxī Petrochemical Company focused on the application of key technologies in corrosion management. Through measures such as digital monitoring, process optimization, and crude oil assessment, it managed to achieve performance levels in various prevention and control aspects that exceeded expectations, thereby laying a solid technical foundation for the stable operation of the production facilities. Backed by digital technologies, the research team has established a full-cycle corrosion monitoring system that analyzes offline, online, and process-related corrosion monitoring data on a weekly basis, enabling early warning of corrosion trends and precise control thereof. To address the key issues associated with distillation units, the anti-corrosion measures for the electrodialysis process are continuously improved, and clear guidelines for backwashing operations are established, thereby effectively preventing abnormal levels of iron in the crude oil after purification. The results showed that throughout the year, the integrity rate of online monitoring probes was 99.92%, with 100% coverage of all critical areas; the compliance rate for iron ions in the anti-corrosion water medium used in the processing process was 98.97%, while the compliance rates for pH and chloride ions were 100%. The compliance rate for deep desalination of crude oil was 95.31%, all of which exceeded the set targets. In addition, the research team prepared 11 monthly reports on corrosion protection technology and 41 weekly reports on corrosion protection information for the institute throughout the year. They identified 56 cases of corrosion issues in the equipment and proposed 26 targeted prevention measures, providing direct technical guidance for control efforts at the production level. Meanwhile, 10 evaluations of crude oil systems in the Liaohe, Daqing, Niger and other areas were carried out, resulting in 6 reports; 22 rapid evaluations of crude oil were conducted along with related data maintenance. Additionally, distillation tests to determine the actual boiling points of crude oil after distillation and dehydration were performed in both the northern and southern regions, providing data support for production operations and plant calibration.
