How to enter FORTRAN expressions correctly in ASPEN? Please take a look at the screenshot; it keeps showing an error
Isn’t this clearly wrong? = is an assignment statement that can only be used to assign a value to a variable; how can it be used to assign a value to an expression?
For this example with the diagram, what is the correct approach? Please give me some advice. Thank you!
Isn’t it written in the book that FSTAGE=0.43*NSTAGE? The diagram you provided shows FEED-STAGE=0.43*NSTAGE

How was it solved? I’m also working on this example problem; it just won’t work no matter what. . I used the formula from column 7 – why didn’t it work? I’m using the oldest version, 11.1. Please give me some advice!
I did the same thing, but it just didn’t work; it showed a red light. I don’t know what’s wrong. The FSTAGE and NSTAGE variables were defined separately earlier.
