I’m a bit confused regarding the CII inputs for calculating wind loads on overhead pipelines. According to the wind pressure vs elevation method, the settings are as follows, but I don’t know how to determine the values to enter in the PRESSURE field – is it calculated using the formula specified in the standards? That formula includes a shape coefficient for wind load, which is set to 0.7; however, 0.7 has already been entered in the interface before cii. Will this cause duplication? So I want to ask what exactly is the formula used to calculate the value entered in the PRESSURE field?
As a supplement, I now have both the basic wind pressure and the wind pressure height variation coefficient

Pressure refers to wind pressure, which varies with height; for details, refer to the Code for Loads on Building Structures GB 50009-2012
The basic wind pressure multiplied by the height coefficient is essentially what you need.

By studying the relevant standards in more detail, one can learn a lot; refer to GB 50009-2012. Note: Sometimes it is also necessary to take into account the basic wind pressure correction factor and the wind vibration coefficient.
