Seeking advice: Can process simulation design work be broken down into smaller tasks? How should it be decomposed appropriately?
Can LZ phrase the question more precisely? Design work usually doesn’t involve much optimization; if it’s just process simulation, the workload should not be very large. And with strict optimization, the workload is indeed substantial; in the absence of a circulating flow, it can definitely be processed in chunks ； In the case of systems with circulating flow streams, systematic consideration is usually required; the key is to identify the parameters that have the greatest impact on energy consumption and equipment costs in order to optimize them.
