I have a question: I am currently conducting a stress analysis of a jacketed tube. The medium inside the inner tube is asphalt, while the heating medium in the outer tube is heat transfer oil. The operating temperature for asphalt is 270°C at a pressure of 1.04 MPa; the operating temperature for heat transfer oil is 280°C at a pressure of 1.5 MPa. The results shown in C2 currently indicate that both the primary stress and the secondary stress are well above normal levels. I would like to ask the experts: what are the main factors that affect the stress in cladding tubes? Setting of the positioning plate? Stent placement? Is it the distance between the jacket flanges? I don’t know where to start tuning the model right now; I’m very troubled. Please give some advice! ! !
Are the materials of the inner tube and the jacket tube the same? Since the operating temperature is essentially the same, it is possible to use the same material for both the inner and outer tubes. Additionally, if the thermal expansion is large, expansion joints can be used.
