Based on years of experience using CAD, Song typeface is a suitable choice; a width factor of 0.7 to 0.8 works well. At the same height, the height of Chinese characters is roughly the same as that of numbers and letters, and elements such as the thickness of the character strokes and their color intensity can also be kept consistent. Most importantly, these are fonts built into the computer system; even when opening a CAD file on someone else’s computer, there’s generally no need to worry about having to select a font or facing numerous issues. You also don’t have to worry about your font not being available in that person’s CAD font library.
