When using the Haochen CAD drawing software, the object snap function is often needed. But what should be done if it’s not possible to capture objects while using this function? That’s when temporary tracking points come in handy~ I’ll go over them in detail for everyone now! How to use temporary tracking points in CAD: 1. At this point, it is necessary to make use of the temporary tracking points available within CAD’s object snap features. To access these temporary tracking points, use “Shift + right mouse button” during the execution of a command, or enter their shortcut command “tt” in the command line. However, when using temporary tracking points, it is necessary to turn on \"Polar Axis\", \"Object Snap\", and \"Object Tracking\" in the status bar respectively in order to achieve the desired result. 2. To draw the first shape, a circle with a radius of 30 is easy to create; subsequently, when using the line-drawing command, this temporary tracking point will be utilized. The tracking point we are looking for is the intersection of the circle with the line that is 20 units away from the center along the positive x-axis. The steps to find it are as follows. 3. Enter L and press Enter to execute the straight-line command. Enter TT and press Enter to capture the center point of the circle as a temporary tracking point. As shown in the figure below: At this point, the command once again prompts the user to specify the first point; move the cursor to the right, enter TT again, press Enter, and then enter 20 to position the temporary tracking point 20 units away from the center of the circle. As shown in the figure below: 5. Then move the cursor downward; click when it captures the intersection point with the circle via the polar axis and object tracking, thereby determining the first point of the line. 6. Then move the cursor to the left and trace along the polar axis until it reaches the intersection point with the circle; click there to complete the drawing of the line. Next, connect to the other intersection point of the circle. 7. When drawing the second shape, first draw the larger circle as well, and then use the command to draw an arc with three points; it’s just necessary to figure out in advance how to track the path before starting to draw.
