When using the HaoChen CAD drawing software to create geometric shapes, and the shaded areas are drawn based on given conditions, how can one quickly determine the area and perimeter of those shaded areas? Next, I’ll share with you some tips and techniques for getting the area and perimeter of certain shapes in CAD drawings, as a quick introduction to this software! The steps to determine the area and perimeter of certain shapes in CAD drawings are as follows: 1. First, open HaoChen CAD, then draw a circle of any size, and subsequently draw a pentagon inscribed within that circle. 2. After dividing the pentagon, divide the topmost side into 4 equal parts. 3. Draw a circle with the upper right vertex of the pentagon as the center and 1/4 of the side length as the radius. 4. Then, with the midpoint of the upper side of the pentagon as the center and 1/4 of the side length as the radius, draw a circle. 5. With 0 as the center point, N=5, two small circles in a circular array. As shown in the figure below: 6. Delete the auxiliary circle and pentagon. 7. Draw a straight line that is tangent to circles 1 and 2. 8. Draw circles using the tangent, tangent, tangent method; the 3 tangent points are in contact with circles 2, 3, and 4 respectively, and then they are trimmed into arcs. 9. With point O as the center, N=5, linear arrangements and trimmed arcs in a circular array. As shown in the figure below: 10. Using points A and B as reference distances, scale the entire image to 100. 11. Finally, the perimeter of the shaded area is calculated to be 300.1193. After completing the drawing using the HaoChen CAD software and having adjusted the dimensions as required, simply select the shaded area and apply filling to obtain the area value directly. If you want to calculate the arc length, you need to merge the boundary lines into a polyline; once selected, its length can be determined.
