In the HaoChen CAD drawing software, especially in its mechanical version, there are many functions that cannot be ignored. Among them, the local detail command is a particularly important one. Below, we will provide a detailed introduction to this CAD command, and take a look at how to establish a parametric connection between the enlarged local view and the original image! I. Functional evaluation: The main difference between the detailed view function and the local view function lies in the fact that the former enables parametric synchronization between the enlarged local view and the original image. In other words, when parameters such as the size, shape, or scale of the original image are changed, the parameters of the enlarged local view are automatically adjusted as well, eliminating the need for the designer to regenerate the local view. II. Detailed Explanation of Functions: Interconnection? What kind of linkage is it exactly? By looking at the example operations below, one will gain a clear understanding of this feature and will be eager to use it. First, invoke the command: in the menu bar, select 【Haochen Machinery】—【Utility Tools】—【Local Detail (XT)】. The command line will prompt you to select the area that needs to be enlarged; after performing this action, a function dialog box will appear, as shown in Figure 1. Parameters such as the scale ratio of the local view area, view name, and annotation leader lines can be set; once these are specified, a local enlarged view will be generated automatically. In the detailed view in Figure 1, the advantage of this feature is that if dimensions are to be added to the original image, one only needs to double-click on the boundary of the partial view within the original image to open the partial view dialog box. By clicking OK, the enlarged view will be automatically updated, with dimensions also added to it. Figure 2 adds dimensions; Figure 3 changes the shape. Thirdly, in terms of functional innovation, the local view feature enables interaction with the original image, thereby greatly improving designers’ drawing efficiency. The local detail feature has been upgraded from the previous limited options of circular and rectangular view outlines to allow for the definition of custom local view outlines. By drawing a frame within a specific area and then using the XT command, and following the instructions on the command line by entering O (Object) and selecting the drawn frame, it is possible to zoom in on the graphics within that frame.
