Dear experts, what is the purpose of this pipeline at the end of the plant’s circulating water main (DN600)? Will there be any consequences if this pipeline is removed? As shown in the figure below
For cyclic use, to avoid dead zones and corrosion
May I ask whether this auxiliary line is normally open or normally closed? Are there any criteria for selecting the pipe diameter?
Normally open. There is no requirement regarding the diameter; it just needs to be smaller than that of the main pipe, while still allowing for circulation. I think 200 is a bit too large
