In Aspen simulations, when entering components, if there are interacting substances, should only the reactants be entered, or should components such as intermediate products or final products also be included? I’m a newbie; please give me some guidance.

Is it too complicated for multiphase systems with multiple reaction equilibria? Can’t the system automatically determine what reactions and equilibria exist?
Reply to 3# htcfkq :) For common ion reactions, if you choose the Elec Wizard, the system will generate the reaction automatically; you can view it under reaction\chemistry. These reactions can be used throughout the entire computing process. But if you want to use reactions that the system has not generated, you can define them yourself; for balanced reactions, you can also define them on your own. It shouldn’t make a determination automatically; you can enter the dynamic equations! It seems that electrolyte processes can be determined automatically, but I think those equilibrium equations need to be modified! !
