Question for fellow CAD users: How can arraying be done based on paths in CAD? For example, arrange an object along a polyline array.
It probably won’t work; it seems that arrays can only be arranged around a point (or an axis), or in row-column layers. Either the person still doesn’t understand this method.
It should be possible; I’ve seen others do it before.
To turn an object into a block, select B when using commands such as divide or measure to divide or measure it; then enter the name for the new block
I once did it with elliptical arrays and parabolic arrays; I found the method by searching on Baidu. It’s been a long time since then and I’ve forgotten it
