During the critical period of epidemic prevention and control in 2022, the urea packaging plant under the Fertilizer Division ensured safe production while carrying out measures to prevent and control the epidemic. From 8 a.m. on February 9 to 8 a.m. on February 10 (within 24 hours), the plant packaged 290 tons of urea per day, achieving the highest level of packaging and shipment volume around the Spring Festival – almost twice the usual volume! The urea packaging plant began its packaging operations on the fourth day of the Lunar New Year; although sales were promising, the shipment workload was heavy. The packaging factory organizes things carefully and makes sound arrangements; it implements a rota system for its staff, and coordinates with the key members of each team to ensure that they remain at their packaging posts, working in shifts so as to maintain normal packaging operations on all three packaging lines whenever trains arrive. From 8:00 on February 9th to 8:00 on February 10th, 2,909 tons of urea were packaged within 24 hours. Of this, 2,841 tons were loaded directly, while 68 tons were transferred in bulk packages.
