It depends on what kind of salt it is Strictly speaking, acidic water is itself a saline solution; the salt in question is ammonium hydrosulfide, which decomposes into hydrogen sulfide and ammonia during the stripping process. However, if it is chlorides, sulfates, etc., entering the acidic water stripping tower, in addition to salt and scale formation, corrosion may also occur.
When saline wastewater enters the acidic water stripping unit, the material quality of the entire system must be upgraded – isn’t that putting the cart before the horse?
I really don’t know what the person who posted this or the technical and management staff at their company are thinking; anyone with even a basic understanding of petrochemical technology would have no doubts about such things.
