According to a report from Sinochem New Network, the “Wind Selection and Internal Wind Circulation Device for Separating Powder and Granular Materials,” developed by Xi’an Cilin Electrical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Xi’an Cilin), was recently evaluated as a scientific and technological achievement by experts organized by Beijing Guoke Yingchuang Technology Evaluation Co., Ltd. in Beijing. The expert committee unanimously agreed that this achievement ranks among the leading ones in China within the field of devices for separating powder and granular materials using air classification and internal air circulation. The expert committee believes that this device has four core advantages. First, it has low energy consumption: the rated processing capacity of the equipment is 150 tons per hour, with an electricity consumption of 0.016 kWh per ton, which is 1.28% of that of vibrating screens (vortex screens). Second, the particle content of dust is low; tests show that the extraction rate of particle materials can reach 99.5%, which is expected to result in a reduction of 300 tons of particle material losses per year. Third, the system features a closed-loop design with internal air circulation; the fully enclosed dust collection chamber not only prevents dust from escaping but also reduces wear on key components. To address issues such as high energy consumption in traditional equipment, Xi’an Cilin organized technical research efforts to develop a highly efficient air separation device with internal air circulation for separating powdery and granular materials. This solution includes a hopper for feeding powder and granular materials, a separation chamber, a discharge channel for the granular materials, a channel for the downward flow of dust and air, a dust-cleaning chamber for the return air, return air ducts, a fan, and a duckbill-shaped air outlet, enabling the separation of powder and granular materials through internal circulation of air in the air classification process. At the same time, this achievement also features fan components that are easy to install and clean, taking full account of the practicality for users. Ma Yulin, chairman and chief engineer of Xi’an Cilin, said that in the future, by integrating closely with technologies such as the industrial Internet and big data analysis, this device will be able to enable predictive maintenance and intelligent optimization control, thereby further enhancing its market competitiveness.
