If anyone has photos from the actual site, please share them. The attached images show two ways in which it could be done at a 45° angle; since it needs to be done along the direction of the medium, I lean towards the second option. However, since I’ve never seen it in person, I need photos to confirm this

There are no photos, so I’ll draw one for you to see. The resistance is greater on the left side, while it’s smoother on the right side, with less resistance. We use an elbow combined with a 45-degree bend in place of a straight tee for our ductwork

Because of this 45° angle, I’m not sure how it was measured; that’s why Hui came up with the idea that perhaps the branch pipe is directly above the main pipe, resulting in an intersection angle of 45°. It’s also possible that the branch pipe is perpendicular to the main pipe, in which case the angle would also be 45°. But since it’s related to the direction of the flow, I think the first scenario represents the correct direction. Still, I’m worried that I might be wrong
