As for the fan itself, will there be air leakage? Some will probably leak, right?
I’ve never come into contact with it, but I think it must be quite small!
For conventional fans, as long as the welding process is proper, the parts of the fan’s airflow channels that come into contact with the outside environment are the main shaft hole, the water release valve opening, and the inlet and outlet openings. The main shaft hole usually has a shaft seal; as for the fan itself, such leaks have minimal impact on the entire system. Special processes can employ sealed fans; combined sealing can basically achieve zero leakage, but the cost is relatively high.
