I’m not quite sure what \"diesel modification\" means. I checked and it seems there is some kind of modification reaction, but I’m not sure if that’s what it refers to. The title is definitely spelled correctly
Your title is definitely wrong; it seems you have no understanding at all of the essence of oil refining and petroleum product purification. \"Production\" can refer to systems, rules, methods, styles, etc. Quality can refer to essence, quality, texture, etc. Oil upgrading refers to the process of refining preliminarily processed oils through appropriate subsequent processes to improve their quality and certain specific properties, thereby producing high-quality or compliant oils that meet the required quality standards. You should be able to understand the difference between quantity and quality literally as well, unless you are a complete layperson when it comes to oil processing.
Using diesel to extract aromatics is too costly. Diesel is essentially composed of hydrocarbons with 12 carbon atoms or more; the aromatic compounds contained in it are mainly long-side-chain aromatics, or bifunctional and polycyclic aromatics. To convert it into monocyclic aromatics, diesel must first be cracked and then hydrogenated before reformation, which is not economical either in terms of raw material usage, target product production, or thermodynamics. The raw materials used for producing aromatics are generally naphtha and the components of cracked gasoline obtained from olefin cracking; using diesel is not cost-effective.
It’s really not a typo :'( That’s exactly the term used in my thesis title – maybe cost considerations aren’t taken into account in graduation projects
