The reboiler outlet contains steam rather than condensate

We have a reboiler in the tower; the outlet stream is still steam, not condensate, with a pressure difference of around 0.3 Mpa. Solve
Does that mean the steam used on the hot side does not condense? Is superheated steam used on the hot side? By how many degrees is it overheated? Is the tower’s load sufficient? The difference in thermal load between cases with no phase change and those with phase change should be quite large

I think it’s because you’re using superheated steam; there isn’t enough latent heat in the steam, which is why that’s still the case
One possibility is that the trap has not been installed or is damaged; another possibility is that it’s an illusion – when the steam pressure is high, the water discharged by the trap undergoes flashing, so what you see is a mixture of steam and water.
The probability of an illusion is relatively high; there is a significant difference in the K values and heat loads depending on whether condensation occurs or not, and designers generally do not include such a large margin. A lot of steam will also be generated if the condensate flashes as it is discharged behind the steam trap.
