Dear everyone: At present, our company’s centrifugal fans are used to remove the water vapor from the outlets where the materials processed have been discharged. Although we know that the white gas emitted by these fans is water vapor and is harmless to the environment and human health, the neighboring fire department keeps filing complaints against us. So I truly hope that an expert can help solve this. What is drawn out is water vapor at 90°C containing water vapor. Fan parameters: flow rate of 3864–7728 m3/h, total pressure of 790–502 Pa; power/voltage: 2.2 KW/380 V. Is there any good way to eliminate water vapor? I’ve checked out the options for condensation; the investment required alone is 400,000 yuan, which isn’t very cost-effective.
Change the air outlet to rotate 225° to the right, so that the moisture is directed straight at the floor. Create a pool on the floor, and extend the air outlet about 10 centimeters above the water surface; this way, the moisture will fall directly into the water. With proper harmless treatment, there will be no dispersion of moisture, and thus no complaints
The waste heat at 90°C is thus discharged~~~ The traditional method of removing impurities involves cooling down to collect condensed water and then heating up again for discharge~~~ This approach results in high energy consumption and poor economic efficiency; The solution mentioned on the second floor – removing heat – is a viable approach. However, in my opinion, with 90° heat transfer conditions, using this absorption method carries some risks. It seems more reasonable to insert the tail pipe 50–100 mm into the water, with the water being in motion.
Build a chimney and then lead the exhaust pipe to it.
Add a demister, or a heat exchanger
Is it corrosive? How about installing a small plate as a replacement, or letting water flow through it to create bubbles? Electric defogging is another option, or a spray tower can be used for absorption
Just wash it with water; there’s no need to go to such trouble
Does it mean pouring it directly into the water?
Consider adding a water film dust collector to lower the exhaust gas temperature, which can also further reduce the emission of fine particles. There are many cases of exhaust gas being emitted at high temperatures, with some temperatures even higher. This situation is rather awkward: if it’s not addressed, the system’s energy consumption will be high; if waste heat is utilized, the investment required is large and it’s not cost-effective.
