Should the outlet pipelines of the loading pump and the hoses connected to tank trucks be fitted with quick connectors or flanges? Is it necessary to install break valves, and are there any regulatory guidelines in this regard?
We all use flange connections, with a shut-off valve in between. There is an emergency switch button for emergency shutdown.
Is the emergency shut-off valve manual or electric?
The selection of connecting pipes should be determined based on the physical and chemical properties of the material; metal hoses are used for ultra-low temperature liquids. It has snap-fit connectors for connection, and flange connections as well; it’s troublesome. As for what prevents the facility from breaking, it’s probably not necessary. These are all elements that are part of the design.
