Does the DCS manufacturer develop the control system based on the documents provided by the design institute?
I want to know this answer too; I’m following the flowchart to do it, seeking expert advice.
PID flowcharts, logic interlock diagrams, and so on
PID, circuit diagrams, I/O tables, interlock schematics, schematics of complex control circuits, power supply schematics, etc. . .
P&ID is a must. Then, what the automation department in design institutes usually produces includes the following: data sheets for various instruments, I/O tables, air supply distribution diagrams, installation diagrams for various instruments, instrument circuit diagrams, control interlock logic diagrams, and material lists. DCS typically uses P&IDs, I/O tables, instrument circuit diagrams, and control interlock logic diagrams.
