What are the requirements for directly releasing hydrogen into the atmosphere? Such as emissions, height?

The “Design Specifications for Hydrogen Stations” contain the following provisions for reference! 12.0.9 A flame arrester shall be installed on the hydrogen vent pipe. The flame arrester should be installed at the pipe outlet. The installation of the vent pipe shall comply with the following requirements: 1 It shall lead to the outside, and the outlet of the vent pipe shall be 1 m above the roof ridge ; 2 Measures should be in place to prevent rain, snow from entering and debris from blocking it ; 3 When the pressure is greater than 0.1 MPa, stainless steel pipes should be used for the pipes behind the flame arrester.

There must be requirements; for example, if the gas flow rate is too high and the static electricity grounding is inadequate, a fire might break out. A lightning protection device should be installed at the height. If the flow rate is too high and still remains within the explosion range after spreading out, it should be raised
Hydrogen is not a pollutant, but it is an energy source. Therefore, there are no requirements regarding emission limits. From a safety perspective, the emission rate for air emissions depends on factors such as temperature, pressure, the medium inside the pipe, and the material of the pipe. At pressures that are not too high (such as 0.1–3.0 MPa), a value of 15 m/s for carbon steel and 25 m/s for stainless steel falls within the safe range.
For the short-term test, PSA is not intended to be used; the hydrogen-rich gas at the rear is released directly into the atmosphere. However, the volume of this gas is quite large. There’s no issue with the flow rate, but concerns arise regarding the risk of air accumulation. I’m not sure if there are any requirements regarding this
